☀️ Bali
About
Leonid Shvorob
From St. Petersburg Rain to Bali Sun
I'm Leo, originally from St. Petersburg - you know, that incredibly rainy city where you learn to appreciate every ray of sunshine. Maybe that's why I ended up in Bali, building my AI automation agency where the weather matches my optimism about technology.
How I Think
Strategy over comfort. Results over process. This isn't just my business philosophy - it's how I live.
I approach everything with systems thinking. Whether I'm debugging a complex automation workflow at 2 AM or planning my morning routine, I look for patterns, inefficiencies, and ways to create leverage. Some call it overthinking; I call it engineering better outcomes.
The Journey
Started in the gray streets of Russia, moved through the world of marketing and sales, and eventually found my calling in AI automation. The transition wasn't planned - I just kept noticing how much time people waste on repetitive tasks that computers could handle perfectly.
Random fact: I still prefer coding in VS Code with a dark theme because it reminds me of those long Piterian winter nights when the best ideas come.
My Daily Reality
Currently based in Bali, I split my time between building automation systems and expanding my agency. Every morning starts with ice lemon tea (or "es teh tawar" as they call it here) and reviewing overnight automation runs - there's something satisfying about waking up to systems that worked flawlessly while you slept.
I work with n8n, Make.com, Claude, and custom Python scripts, but honestly, the tools matter less than the thinking behind them. I redesign processes first, automate second. No point in automating broken workflows.
Another quirk: I use Loom videos for almost everything. Something about explaining ideas verbally just clicks better than endless email chains.
Philosophy in Practice
I bring the same discipline from competitive sports into everything I do. Hard conversations, clear frameworks, measurable results. I'd rather have an uncomfortable truth than a comfortable lie.
The 80/20 rule guides most decisions - maximum leverage with minimum complexity. I actively filter out "shiny objects" because focus is a superpower in our distracted world.
Fun fact: I keep a physical notebook for important ideas, even though I live in the digital world. There's something about writing by hand that makes thoughts stick differently.
Beyond the Screen
Bali provides the perfect environment for deep work and strategic thinking. I can build systems that work globally while maintaining the freedom to work from anywhere - though I admit the reliable internet and endless supply of good es teh tawar doesn't hurt.
Every client project teaches me something that improves the next system. It's iterative improvement applied to business building.
What Drives Me
Building things that work without constant babysitting. Creating systems that scale. Turning complex business problems into elegant automated solutions.
But mostly, I'm driven by the challenge of making the complicated simple - whether that's a client's chaotic sales process or just figuring out the best way to structure my day.
